For the first time in Coimbatore, “CSI Edu Connect 2026”, an education, employment and skill development event for school and college students, will be held on May 2nd.
The event, which will be held at the CSI All Souls Church campus in the Coimbatore Racecourse area, will provide students with various advice on their academic progress, employment opportunities, and personal development.
The poster release ceremony for this event was held at the Church of South India (CSI) Coimbatore Thirumandala office in the Coimbatore Racecourse area. The poster was released by the Bishop of South India Coimbatore Thirumandala, Prince Calvin. The event was attended by CSI Engineering College Director Dr. Arumairaj, Treasurer Amirtham and others.
Educational speaker Jayaprakash Gandhi will be the special guest at the event and will interact directly with college students.

He said that the CSI Church is continuously engaged in educational services in Coimbatore, Tiruppur and the Nilgiris districts. He said that assistance schemes are being implemented to help students from the hill tribes and the Irular community to progress in their education.
He also said that more than a thousand school and college students are scheduled to participate in the “CSI Edu Connect 2026” program. He said that the program is being organized with the aim of providing guidance to students regarding education, employment and career advancement.
He said that many students from the hill tribes and the Irular community will participate and benefit from this program, and that people of all religions can participate in it for free.
