Tamil Nadu children achieve success in national level beauty pageant: Selected for international pageant in Thailand!

Children from Tamil Nadu have achieved a huge feat in the 2026 ‘Junior Model International India Finals’, the India-wide finals competition organized by Fashion Runway.

Talented children from various parts of Tamil Nadu participated in this national-level competition held in Kozhikode, Kerala on May 7, 8 and 9. It is noteworthy that rigorous auditions were held in the cities of Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Chennai, Kovilpatti and Madurai under the leadership of Tamil Nadu State Director M. Sivakumar, and the children for the finals were selected.

In this competition, Tamil Nadu’s S. Rakshan (1st Runner Up – 2027 International Next Top Model India), Divith A. (2nd Runner Up & Best in Suits Winner), Joanna V (SR TOD – 1st Runner Up & Little Mr United World – Turkey) and I. Adnan (Junior Glam Universe India & JMI – Prince Of Tamilnadu) have brought pride to the state by winning important titles at the national level.

All these winners are eligible to officially represent India at the ‘Junior Model International 2026’ global finals to be held in Thailand on August 19, 20 and 21.

This internationally renowned children’s beauty pageant will feature various rounds including introduction and interview, talent, traditional costume, and ‘ball gown/suit’. The winners will be decided based on the children’s confidence, communication skills, and stage presence.

He said that it is a matter of great pride that Tamil Nadu children are ready to make their mark on the world stage. He said that the competition continues to be an excellent platform for developing discipline, creativity and global experience in children.
